About Bishop State Foundation

The Bishop State Foundation has provided Bishop State Community College with private philanthropic support since 1994, serving as the vehicle through which individuals and organizations may invest in the college and its students.

As an independent 501(c)(3), the Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides funding and resources annually for scholarships, book grants, emergency funds, and other critical needs of the College.

The Bishop State Foundation advances the College’s mission by creating community awareness, building and nurturing meaningful relationships, and connecting community partners with giving opportunities to fulfill their philanthropic objectives.  

Foundation Goals

  1. Enhance financial support for students.
  2. Engage and interact with alumni, friends, and businesses to provide opportunities for students and the College by continuously identifying possibilities for advancement.
  3. Partner with the College in meeting employer needs by providing a skilled workforce.
