CENTER FOR ADVANCED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY

Bishop State Community College’s Center for Advanced Manufacturing Technology is a state-of-the-art, 80,000 square foot training space featuring world-class equipment for workforce development. The center houses programs including process technology, industrial maintenance, electronics engineering technology, machining, additive and subtractive manufacturing, pipe fitting technology, fluid power technology, and robotics.

The center is located on the Main campus in the center of downtown Mobile, AL.

The Center for Advanced Manufacturing Technology is the Gulf Coast Region’s Workforce Development Training Facility to help train a workforce that will meet businesses’ and industries’ needs.

 

THE CENTER WILL:

CENTER FOR NURSING AND HEALTH SCIENCES

Bishop State Community College has renovated the old library on the main campus into a $4M, 27,000sq.ft. modern health science facility that houses nursing and physical therapist assistant programs. This new space serves as an innovative learning environment and practice space that facilitates and enhances a well-rounded education. The new facility increases Bishop State’s opportunities to offer state-of-the-art simulation teaching labs that allows skill development and real-time feedback on students’ clinical experience to support our region’s healthcare facilities.

Proceeds from your participation will support the purchase of equipment and technology needed for the Center for Nursing and Health Services and provide the students and professors with cutting-edge classroom experiences.
