Hancock Whitney Partners with 100 Black Men of Mobile to Create Bishop State Scholarship Fund

We are proud to announce Hancock Whitney and 100 Black Men of Mobile Inc. partnered to create a scholarship fund at Bishop State Community College. Each year, the scholarship program will provide up to four students in their final year of study at Bishop State up to $1,250 each in scholarship dollars. Eligible students must have a 2.75 grade-point average to qualify for the scholarship and show financial need. While the program considers all majors, the primary focus is on students from low-to-moderate income backgrounds who are studying business or finance.

About the Bishop State Community College Foundation:

The Bishop State Foundation has provided Bishop State Community College with private philanthropic support since 1993, serving as the vehicle through which individuals and organizations may invest in the college and its students. As an independent 501c3, the Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides funding and resources annually for scholarships, book grants, emergency funds, and other critical needs of the college.
